The inventory will comprise:-
  • A comprehensive, detailed report of the contents of the property
  • Every item, with description and comments on any deficiencies or damages
  • Once the accuracy of the report is agreed and signed by both parties, the report becomes a binding document
The Association of Residential Letting Agents ( ARLA ) states that "Inventories are an absolutely essential document that provide a written benchmark that should be amended, updated and recreated before the beginning of each new tenancy"
